Utah sect proves that there is a God - by suing the city for having a 10 commandmnets monument without allowing them to add (at their own expense) Moses' OTHER seven commandments.

They're suing on the grounds that a publically funded 10 commandments monument on public ground violates the Establishment clause - "the defendants give preference and endorsement to one particular set of religious beliefs by allowing the Ten Commandments monument to remain in a public park or in a forum within the public park supported by taxpayers and disallow a similar display of the religious tenets of Summum,"

This, of course, is correct - and applies equally to Islam, Mormonism, Shinto, Discordianism, and worship of the Dreaded One-Eyed Trouser Snake Who Will Devour The World.

(The commandments they're talking about are here)

Those aren't very commandment-like.

But I do think think is funny. It's basically what we all knew would happen once the goveronment started enforcing religion. Everyone wants their turn at bat. And it will continue until a) the goveronment decries catholicism or some other christian faith to be their official faith or b) we, once again, see the wisdom behind separating church from state.

Catholicism? Bah! That's just dressed up paganism! I mean, really, they pray to saints and Mary! The very idea!

Oh, yes ...

... and they're not Commandment-like at all. That's pure western high magic (hermetic) doctrine; I've seen it before ... I think it's in the Pymander of Hermes Trismestigus.
