Most rope is pretty strong. "Working strength" is ~20% of tensile - but the bear doesn't care about safety.

Bears are surprisingly agile. Especially when it comes to getting food.

I'm hearing tell that some of them on the Olympic Peninsula are getting clever enough to climb into trees and haul up food that people have hung out of reach.

I'd go stark-raving mad if I had to try and Photoshop something in the middle of a scene like that (too! many! leaves!) so I'll got with the real thing.

The words "determined bugger" crop up at this point, and refuse to leave.
