That Glasgow one is great. This guy, who's a friend of Jesse's, teaches there. I took a seminar from him once when he visited the States. He had a lot of, well, very interesting stories. I can sorta see why people give him trouble, he's a pretty small guy, but I also suspect he could kick someone's head off if he had a mind to.
That's so awesome that there's a documentary about Darkon being made. I've known the Mordomians since 1990. Hell, I've spent a couple campouts with them. Buck (aka Keldar, the tall guy in the black tunic with the red gryphon on it who is the first person in garb you see) is a great guy who can drink his weight in beer, and has been known to, on occasion. He commonly refers to the Map as the Greater Mordomian Coprosperity Sphere.
If you meet a Mordomian, the appriate greeting is "Beer is food!"
I don't see any of the older Mordomians, save Buck in there, but Blackthorn (Mike Sexton as he's known on my cell) is a friend from <a href="http://www.odu.edu>ODU</a>time spent getting an education, but not necessarily a degree</a>.
I'm glad for the people who have fun larping. But I would rather take a knife to my gut than be seen in a movie where I'm proudly flaunting my granduer in a fantasy world.
