And here, the word-inventing guy behind Liberality for All says Caldwell's painting was one of his inspirations, the other being the juxtaposition of sighting a "Kerry for a Stronger America" bumper sticker "the same day that Kerry had made a comment about fighting a 'more sensitive' war on terror". Then again, it's hard to tell whether Mackey's joking either.
"Fantasy artist, Clyde Caldwell, turns his brush to political satire!"
When your object is Rush defending liberty and justice from the Terrible Clinton-Gore-Clinton Hydra, and you yourself label it political satire, I tend to believe that the person you are mocking is Rush.
I actually don't know one way or the other what Caldwell's politics are, and I can't find any page via Google that resolves the issue. I certainly hope like hell he's kidding, but if so, I consider that the aforesaid Mike Mackey needs to be told directly. Hey Mike, "all those tree hugging anti-war pinko commi leftist out there" have an earful for you too, if your ears weren't so well-plugged by your own rectal tissue (™ sclerotic_rings).
