US Government takes Google to court to gain access to search records.

Their stated reason: so they'll know how much porn shows up in searches!
The reason that's bullshit: They could just search themselves.
The real reason: They want to know what you're searching for.

I seriously have to wonder who they think they're fooling. I have enough faith (blind? Maybe) in the court, and in Google sticking to its guns--and they're large guns--to hope for the best, of course.
