And she's blaming Planned Parenthood, to boot? For her asshattery?

Having been on the receiving end of someone bent out of shape about my contraceptives, I say good on Target. More companies should follow their lead.

You know what you're getting into when you sign up for pharmacy school. If your religion prevents you from doing the whole job, don't take on the job.

That last bit was the main thing going through my head as I read. If you have great moral qualms about participating in activity A, then DON'T DO A JOB that requires you to do activity A. It's that simple, lady.

One can hope that this will be the first of many.

One will probably be disappointed.

GOOD.

(Part of being a professional ANYTHING is being able to distinguish between personal morality and professional ethics. Doctors, lawyers, and librarians understand this. If pharmacists want professional recognition they should be required to make the same distinction.)

Yep pretty much. The situation would be like an anti-abortion activist nurse who got a job at planned parenthood and refuing to participate in an abortion.... in other words.. silly.
