Gotta love those priorities.
Apr. 22nd, 2004 05:39 pmJury deliberation in trial about murder of 5-year-old girl delayed for hockey game.
"If you're wondering about the details, a kindergarden girl's dismembered limbs were found in a garbage bag by a woman walking her dog. The woman saw her parents acting suspiciously and went to see what they had buried. Later, Farah's head was found buried in another location.
She was beaten to death and then dismembered by her own father, who claims now he was in a rage. The step-mother actually went to the kindergarden teacher and told her that day, calmly, that they were moving back to Pakistan to be with an ailing relative, and so little Farah Khan would not be back to class.
The jury decided yesterday to delay proceedings until tomorrow because of the playoff game. I mean, I get the whole 'it's not going to make that much of a difference' thing but at the same time... you people have a responsibility.
It just seems really fucking shallow. "
