Okay. Roy (the black guy) and Whatshername (the pixie in the dress) have been flirting for a while, and they've finally gone to dinner.

This comic is the dinner.

Conversation, telling stories, laughing, having a good time, pausing, she leaves the table briefly.

He stands up and celebrates the date, loudly.

He sits back down.

She returns and he's looking totally innocent, like he wasn't just celebrating on top of the table.

I thought it was cute, anyway.

Yes, you do. Dungeon Crawlin' Fools is OK, it's a very clean and well-done reprint of the first hundred or so comics with additional notes &c, but On The Origin Of PCs, which is the prequel book, is fantastic.
