Snowe, Collins, McCain, Sununu, Chafee, Gregg and Specter broke ranks with the Bigot Party to vote for sanity.
Nelson and Byrd broke ranks with the Sane Party to vote as bigots.
Sam Brokeback (R-Kansas) said "We're making progress, and we're not going to stop until marriage between a man and a woman is protected," but declined to answer questions about how it was threatened, or what they were protecting it from.
