Bishop notices that the bits of the Bible that prohibit homosexuality are ALSO the bits that prohibit eating shellfish, trimming your beard, wearing polyester, and not stoning your children - joins the rest of us who didn't take two millennia to catch on to that.

"The Bible has a great deal to teach us about how to live as human beings. The Bible does not have so much to teach us about what sorts of food to eat, what sorts of clothes to wear -- there are rules in the Bible about those that we don't observe today," she said.

I do think that on the next anti-gay protest thingy we need to show up with signs decrying the wearing of mixed fibers and eating of shellfish.
