I'm spending July 1st in the pool with beer and barbecue. Y'all are welcome to join me, if you're in the right city. My pool is in South Keys, 20 minutes on the bus from downtown, away from the crowds.

Bring your own suits, towels, food, beer.

Comments are screened - if you need directions to the place, comment with an email address and I'll send 'em to you. There's plenty of free parking available, if that's a concern, and it's literally *maybe* 10 minutes walk from the South Keys bus station (where the giant theatre is), or 15 from the Greenboro bus/train station.

Comment to tell me if you're coming and approximately how many of you there are, SVP.

I've got Steve and Jo up from Toronto so I have no idea what they are going to want to know.

Hey. It'd be me and up to six girls coming with me. Possibly a boy or two, if the boyfriends have not decided to go do dumb boy things and get shitfaced elsewhere. (And it would be elsewhere. I am really not into being around stupid drunk people.)

They are all lovely, fun girls who would not trash things. I don't know if the rabid reiteration of this requirement is coming from Kevin or from you through him, but really, I wouldn't invite assholes who would trash the place. Not only do I not tend to make friends with people like that, I certainly don't bring them with me places.

If it's not too much trouble, could I get an address so that I can Google Maps for the car people, as well as directions for bus people from South Keys? Also, by when should I let you know for sure before it is too short notice and thus rude? :)

Heh. I wasn't expecting that they'd trash the place, only re-iterating that the invite really is open, to everyone I know and their friends, and that strangers who know poeple I know are okay as long as they're cool people. That's it.
