Social Studies teacher suspended for burning a flag during a lesson on freedom of speech in the USA.

If you don't like Al Jazeera as a source, try putting the teacher's name in at news.google.com, and you can find Faux News' coverage, among others.

Ummm... Al-Jezeera was touted for years as being a pro-Western Arabic news source, until they continued doing actual news coverage during the last few years. Then they "became" the mouthpiece for Al-Quaeda.

It's a perfectly legitimate news source.

I know that.

I was simply forstalling those who might object to it, and giving them one they are more likely to trust.

I prefer Al-J to a lot of other sources, it's very good for international news still (at least the website is). It's the only source I've found that's close to BBC world in accuracy, impartiality and coverage. Sometimes it's better.

The flag burning thing is something I still don't get, it's just a flag. Then, we don't pledge allegiance to anything, we just get on with being British (and we know that means better than everyone else, we've no need to prove it).
