Two Ohio election workers convicted of rigging 2004 election recounts - picking and choosing the "random" ballots to hand-read so that they wouldn't set of the alarms to hand-count the entire batch.

Undercover Jacksonville police kill 80-year-old man after he demands that they, dressed as drug dealers, leave his property.

Apparently drug dealers on his lawn are a common problem, and Florida law says he was 100% in the right, even to the point where he opened fire on the armed men who refused to leave his property.

Also,
Man attempts to beat his wife to death, in front of their children, because she had an abortion and that's wrong.

Also,
Fort Lauderdale man in critical condition after climbing out of his car going over 100 on the highway, so that he could "ski" by standing on the roof.

All this from The F State, who have a very frightening goal: To chronicle news from Florida.

The town of Herouxville in Quebec, which boasts one immigrant family among its 1,300 inhabitants, is at the centre of a race-relations rumpus after issuing a town council declaration on culture which reminds newcomers that "stoning [women] in public, burning them alive, burning them with acid, circumcising them etc", is an absolute no-no.

The guidelines on the town's website read: "We wish to inform these new arrivals that the way of life which they abandoned when they left their countries of origin cannot be recreated here. We consider it completely outside norms to...kill women by stoning them in public, burning them alive, burning them with acid, circumcising them etc."

The BBC adds that the site "points out that women are allowed to drive, vote, dance and own their own homes". It also insists Sikh children are not allowed to bring "ceremonial daggers to school",

I have just realised a very important thing:

Danny Elfman and Tim Burton's "Kidnap The Sandy Claws" has a rhythm to the verses almost identical to that of KMFDM's "Megalomaniac"
In the age of super-boredom
Hype and mediocrity
Celebrate relentlessness
Menace to society
vs
First, we're going to set some bait
Inside a nasty trap and wait
When he comes a-sniffing we will
Snap the trap and close the gate
and
Like a fiendish tropic virus
Spitting bile at all you whores
Razor-sharp tongue-in-cheek
Poking in your open sores
vs
I've got something, listen now
This one is real good, you'll see
We'll send a present to his door
Upon there'll be a note to read
See?

This mash-up must be made. Who volunteers?

(I don't particularly care which base song is used. They're both awesome!)
