Feb. 20th, 2007 03:48 pmThe TSA, the US Committee For State Security's notoriously incompetent branch in charge of making sure Americans have difficulty leaving the country, has a new web form - one so incompetently designed and executed that every remotely internet-savvy user who saw it immediately marked it as "phishing" and some even called DHS to report that the TSA website had been hacked.
Short version: Wrong domain, improperly signed SSL cert, insecure form submission, constant mispellings, broken links, breaks US federal laws on information collection, breaks US federal requirements on the use of tracking cookies, links you to "PDF" versions that are really insecure DOC files, and more.
Want to bet they paid about a million dollars, to a campaign contributor, for this page? Anyone?
