I love Canadian polictics.

CPC(non-communist) demands Rogue Nation status for Canada, on the grounds that UN inspectors have correctly deemed CPC(non-communist) policies on prisoner treatment and deportation-to-torture to be inhumane and uncivilised.

His previous claim to fame is to have claimed that the long-gun registry is exactly what the Nazis woudl have done and that the person responsible is Hitler.

Once again, I'll point out: This dude is not remarkable. His views are completely standard for CPC(non-communist) members. They *all* believe horrible, repugnant, stupid things. It's only a triumph of message management and an incredible feat of forcible censorship that Harper has managed to get his party to stop saying things this stupid *all the time*, and thus has managed to convince ~25% of the country that they don't really think and want all these stupid things.

EA's head of Origin: "Steam sucks because the games are cheap and the service is reliable and works, and games are tested for broad compatibility. Origin wants none of that."

(In the mean time, Crysis 2 is back on Steam. Given the timeframe, DA2 is probably coming back soon. And then, it's possible EA might give up on their failed attempt to increase sales by making games exclusive to "Steam, but worse and more expensive" and Mass Effect 3 might finally get a PC release.)

What's your favourite ergonomic computing device, and how is it better than the standard please-injure-me-permanently-because-I-do-this-for-a-living default?

For me: I use an Evoluent Vertical Mouse 4 at home and work because I was starting to get an RSI from the normal mice and their left-right wrist-snappy motion. The VerticalMouse means that all my normal left-right horizontal wrist-movement becomes elbow-based hand movement, while letting me keep my hand vertical in a standard handshake-like position. Only downside? Its big and makes my laptop bag bulge. At work, I have a full-sized standard keyboard built into my laptop, and for a while I played with a Kinesis Freestyle, but at home I use an MS Natural 4000. It's a perfectly normal split keyboard with, for me, the right combination of angle and raise to avoid pain.

This would be a Guess The State if it was from a credible news source.

That being said, it's from The Mail. They make shit up. Constantly. Without compunction. Nothing you see in The Mail is true, unless you can clearly show where The Mail got it from an actual news source. Most often, they didn't, they made it up, they just pretended their imaginations were a better source than the Weekly World News.

There are still a few sad, stupid, pathetic news sources who MOSTLY are legit, but sometimes still grab stories from The Mail/Sky/Fox. Those are the ones you need to really watch, and avoid reposting stories from.
