(The comparisons to teenagers, Justin Bieber fans, Teabaggers, Apple fans, or any other herd group are left as an exercise to the reader.)

Payday is on sale again ($5 each, or four copies for $15), to celebrate their first DLC release. $5 for this four-player co-op heist shooter, complete with Left 4 Dead crossover level (no, really). Two things to remember: this game is HARD (and it really rewards thinking before you shoot and teamwork, and penalises lone-wolfing), but games are short so losing (or winning!) doesn't take too long, and this game really suffers single-player. You can play alone, but it's most fun re-enacting the climax of Heat with three friends.

(Also, Best DLC Feature Ever: As long as your host has the DLC, all players can access it even if they don't own it themselves. They can't select the new skill tree and they can't start the DLC missions on their own, but they can totally join DLC games and play. Speaking of which, I bought the DLC, who's up for two new heists - one of which can, if you keep the hostages under control, apparently be finished without ever firing a shot or triggering an alarm?)

Insanely stupid Amazon and Apple standard practices mean Apple gives away the password to any .me email account, to anyone who calls in.

Which gives the caller the ability to remotely wipe any of your Apple devices, and, in this case, because the author trusted Apple as the backup of his Google account and assumed that would be good enough, also compromised his Google account, his Twitter account, and everything else.
