I stopped reading Card 5 years ago. Too many echoes of his Mor*on background in his books. Interesting to hear he's paranoid about gays. We've seen what that meant with a number of fundie ministers lately...

i'm very confused. but i love ender's game. i loved most of the series too, but i will say, it got further and further away from his original story the more books her wrote. oh well. i still liked it.

1990 seems to have been a turning point for Card. In the 1980s, he ran Secular Humanist Revival meetings but 1990 saw both THE HYPOCRITES OF HOMOSEXUALITY and Orson coming down on the anti-Rushdie side of that debate.
