FFS.

I would hate this idea even if it weren't Bush doing it.

"We're appointing a head to the committee to decide what to do about thinking about debating a decision about appointing a head to the committee."

She was singin':

Dont' turn around, oh-uh-oh
Der Kommissar's in town, oh-uh-oh
You're in his eye
And you'll know why
The more you live
The fast you will die

Alles klar, Herr Kommissar! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GV1jT-2up1g)

"The directive issued by Mr. Bush says that, in deciding whether to issue regulations, federal agencies must identify “the specific market failure” or problem that justifies government intervention."

Yeah, cause this totally makes sense.

Although, I'm all for minimal governmental intervention, but considering the sheer about of corporate influence in the US gov't, I doubt this will work well.

Maybe this means less intervention, and maybe the smarmy Senator's son who knows the secret Kappa Kappa Whatever handshake gets a brand new "consulting" job courtesy of friendly Mr. Bush.
