I hear, most people who win big lottery jackpots end up being in even worse financial situations than before...

I don't know... from what i hear, it's because most Americans have no teaching on how to properly manage their money. How to control spending, the best ways to have a real savings (most are just taught to put their money in a bank).

They end up increasing their spending liek mad, w/o any real planning on keeping their money.

#1: The man has SIXTY MILLION DOLLARS
#2: He had massive debt and a bankruptcy. He *cannot* possibly do worse than he started, because he started with absolutely nothing.

Never understimate the stupidity of people who come under large sums of money... he could easily buy up even MORE stuff and be in $millions of debt... real quickly. trust me.. it has happened.

Ah, a winning lottery ticket. Every homeowner's dream come true.

(Well, that or unlimited gift certificates to Lowe's.)
