Ah, I see. I took your "my" to be a contrast to the "her" in "her body".

(FWIW, I've only ever heard the "her child" used in conditions where the presence of the father--in terms of support or commitment, not biology--is uncertain. "It" or "the fetus/embryo/whatsit" is a lot more common.)
