Oh, oops. I haven't really been paying attention to movies for... about four years.

I just looked up the IMDb, sounds like one I'll have to check out.

Well, you know, they *were* raised by scientists...

My movie snob buddy who spent an hour discussing why the third Pirates of the Caribbean was a horrible travesty which should never have seen the light of day has said that there is no option, except for us to see this flick this weekend. Clearly, it must rock.

It's possible.

I mean, Glasgowians almost speak English right now so in 30 years they might make their way to comprehensible.

Hence why it's a PLOT HOLE that they're intelligible in the future.

I *liked* the third Pirates. It was delightfully campy and horribly done in all the right ways!

WTF!
Glasgow - one of the biggest science research centres in the world; your data is about three centuries out of date.

Didn't mean to come across sarky ;-)
Glasgow _can_ live up to its reputation but often undeservadly so - if you ever visit Scotland you have to come here, you will be guaranteed a great time, and its the best base to explore the rest of the country (and I speak as an ex-patriate of the East Coast [i.e. Edinburgh, the world's second best city ;-)]

I'm totally hitting up the old family haunts one of these days, I'll take Glasgow under advisement. :D

But I'm standing by the statement that at least half the city views English as a second language, at best.
