Just heard about that myself, as well as something to do with Hillier resigning. (I've not heard anything about them beign related yet, but I should clearly check up on details once I've had my coffee.)
They don't appear to be related. The raid was to do with funny money business regarding campaign funding in the last election.
Hillier is retiring in July cuz he's done. Force leaders in Canada seem to last about 3 years on average, and he's hit 3 years 4 months, so he's about due to quit.
Which is a shame, I think he's kind of interesting.
