On the one hand, the idea that the damages payment is reduced according to proportional fault is a pretty long-standing legal tradition, and makes a lot of sense, particularly compared to the system it's replacing of "If you are at all at fault, no case".

On the other hand, that's a goddamned NEGLIGENCE system. That's not fucking supposed to be for RAPE.
