U.S. Magistrate Judge rules that organisations "having religion among its primary purposes" are exempt from equal opportunity employment rules under the Civil Rights Act.

The result? Organisations, including "faith-based" goverment funded organisations, can hire (and fire) based on religious, ethnic, or behavioural grounds.
