PS: I don't use PunkBuster because I hate the concept. Instead, I rely on only playing online with people I know (or internet-know) and asking them nicely to not cheat.

My main problem so far is that it really simulates the *crazy chaos* of a battlefield - but also means I'm constantly surrounded by friendlies who are getting in my way. I like it, but I find I tend to prefer a little more *thinking* in my shooters.

I would assume that Sony and Microsoft have both held Activision to agreements to not allow infidels to mix with their online networks for any number of reasons.

Hell, I'd want to encourage 360 guilds to gang up and compete in ladders against PS3 guilds, just on principle.

Never mind, then. Not just par for the course, but they have armed guards present to make sure you never go under it.

I've found a better way to express my big complaint about CoD5: There are an infinite number of enemies.

No matter how many enemies you kill, more will spawn, unless you touch the magic spot on the battlefield that causes spawning to stop.

And, worse, it has to be *you* touching the magic spot, not one of your useless NPC sidekicks, because the NPC sidekicks will not attempt to take territory, no matter how many people you take out or how clear the path is for them.

This means that you must ALWAYS be on point, you must ALWAYS be rigged for close combat and you must ALWAYS be up close and personal with the enemy. It's impossible to play a heavy machinegunner who pins the enemy down while your allies flank them, and it's impossible to be a sniper who kills everyone who puts their head up. Or, rather, you CAN do both of those, and you can kll *every enemy* in an area, but your bots will not advance even when the coast is clear and the enemies will simply respawn to make you run out of ammo while killing them again. Eventually, you will have to switch to an SMG and sprint up close under fire.
