The two I had on my fingers were serious in their attempt to eat whatever part of me they could swallow: they were clamped on like two pairs of pliers and neither turning them upside down or immersing them in water would discourage them. Only the vinegar discouraged them. I think your frog has learned that your hand is too big to swallow. ^_^
