He has a bee in his bonnet that his incomprehension (http://erudito.livejournal.com/818281.html) means that I am teh st00pid (http://erudito.livejournal.com/823428.html). Or something.
The journal in question is that of someone I consider a friend of mine (albeit that he and I disagree mightily on most subjects), and someone who I actually know IRL — but our friend Jordan has obviously decided to defend his latest intellectual idol against those who dare hold forth that quaint things like "common decency" or "human feeling" or "for fucks' sake, Jordan, just admit that talking about invading Muslim countries gives you an erection and get therapy for it" are anything other than signs of terrist-loving librulizm.
I generally express that sentiment in the form of linking their blog to my friends. "Hey, look what Crazy Rape Lady just wrote. (http://allecto.wordpress.com)" or "So I share an office at the Public Defender's with this guy. That's fun. (http://thegovernmentiswrong.blogspot.com)", or so forth.
Those are both highly recommended clicks by the way.
Good grief. I bet that guy could find a way to spin Obama's preferred shoe-tying method into a secret signal to Kenyan guerrilla terrorists or something.
One sentence into the first article on his site and he's saying that *men* have a fundamental and inalienable right to reproduce, that *men* have a property right in the ownership of their children, and that fetuses aren't really part of a woman?
Couple weeks ago, I spent most of the day talking politics and ideology with that guy. It was honestly terrifying, watching someone say, with complete sincerity and not a trace of irony, that if all women in the entire world conspired to terminate any pregnancy where he was the father, then his fundamental right of reproduction would be nonexistent. Also that roads should be privatized.
Oh, in reading his brilliant plan to fix Social Security by doubling its payout and quartering its intake, it's probably quite relevant that he himself is 29.
