Apparently the homosexual agenda has spread to elephants.

Maybe Poland is the European equivalent of Ohio. And Italy is the equivalent of Florida - that could work...

What is this homosexual agenda? Replacing the Statue of Liberty with a giant Liza Minnelli?

Well, the secret homosexual world-wide cabal has different objectives depending on who is telling the story, but they all generally agree that they want to recruit by having gay sex with our children, tempt people away from The Lord(tm), raze and burn all of civilization, and make fabulous attire mandatory.

Gay elephants are just another step towards world-wide homosexual domination.

I'm confused. Are you pro- or anti-giant statue of Liza Minnelli?

Hrm... well, I suppose it could still be a giant statue if it's one of those big walk-in closets. Or maybe it's modular. Or inflatable.

Clearly, I'm giving this too much thought.

A giant inflatable Liza Minelli?

Isn't that redundant?

My favourite part of the whole thing is the head of the zoo saying, effectively, "Well, you know, it could just be a phase he's going through".

Also, the councillor in question is from an opposition party (http://www.poznan.pl/mim/public/publikacje/pages.html?id=8270&instance=1017&parent=0&lang=en), up for re-election this year, and it looks like he didn't win handsomely last time (http://wybory2005.pkw.gov.pl/SJM/EN/WYN/W107/39.htm).

(I love the Internet.)

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see this being so much about hatred based on sexual discrimination so much as just them wanting an elephant that will breed...

You say this like it's a surprise.

Until the recent economic problems, a lot of Poles were leaving Poland to come work in Britain. Half of them were coming to get decent paid jobs (even if it was just cleaning toilets the exchange rate made it good). The other half were coming to get away from twunts like him.

Fortunately, they all take their ability to still vote in Polish elections very seriously.

Worse, their President is one of the founders. When Dubbya said "don't forget Poland"? That was code for "look, I'm not the dumbest elected President in the world, look".
