White supremacist, stormfront.org and freerepublic.com regular (but I repeat myself) shoots, kills guard at Holocaust Museum in Washington DC.

The shooter is a WW2 vet who has gone on record, repeatedly, as saying he never would have fought against Hitler if he'd had a clue that Hitler was killing *Jews*.

The Holocaust was committed in pretty good secrecy. As far as I can tell, it wasn't public knowledge when it was going on.

There's no point in gloating about him being stupid when what's wrong with him is that he's evil.

I don't see the pertinence of public knowledge of the Holocaust in '44 to this point; I'm not criticising this guy's war record, I'm criticising his inability to connect the dots we have now. Charitably it could be to his lying about his intellect... but I do agree that, idiot or genius, he's evil.
