I don't think it's necessarily making China the enemy to note the irony between having something with a name so tired to our own country, obviously made in another. ;)
actually, that scene is not icky. it was one of the best scenes in the film, because they managed to get you from a happy place to a head in a box to an angry homicide all without showing you what was really going on in the box. it's probably one of the best finales is horror movie history, IMO.
Well if America's "freedom" is rampant consumerism based around the ability to purchase mass quantities of cheaply produced goods than the jab is pretty accurate I suppose...
