Hmm. My first thought was the site was trying to defeat web scrapers. That's the sort of pointless embedded stuff you see in that situation.
(Well, almost pointless. It works until a programmer adjusts the web scraper).
Trying to imitate Mt. Fuji was not something that would ever occur to me.
