A bug in GMail apparently causes partial messages to be transmited to incorrect recipients.

Apparently, when mail with a malformed "From" or "Reply-to" address is sent to a GMail account, the system that reads the messages continues to parse all further data as part of that address, until a closing character or (potentially) a limit on the buffer is reached. This "other data" includes other messages stored on the GMail server. This allows significant (if totally random) interception of messages sent to GMail accounts.
