That's a zoo picture. The (African) elephant is in a moat and either reaching for the plantains or whatever junk zoo-patrons choose to throw at it. I'd like to know which zoo. It looks like a nice exhibit.
I'm afraid I really don't know. I got the picture from the linked site - "Digital photo of the day" - and there's a link to mial the guy who took it in the first place, but that's all I've got.

I work on the internet, all day. I use this as a brain-dump for all the cool stuff I find and either want to keep a record of for some reason or else I just feel like inflicting on other people.
It's a surprisingly relaxing way to indulge my news-junkie tendencies. My objective is to, every day, see something I could never see anywhere else.
