What behaviour, common and generally socially acceptable now, will be taboo in one hundred years? What thing that we do today will be viewed as barbaric, savage, backwards, and unthinkable in a century?

Using high pressure hoses/high volume water for cleaning purposes. No more hosing down the pavements etc.

And with any luck, all power will be from renewable resources.

We view our "founding fathers" as deific, perfect figures, despite the fact that they were largely rich landowners who created the government to specifically serve their interests and constantly argued amongst themselves. I'd be more afraid that in a hundred years, conservatives forget about St. Sarah's quirks and hold her up as one of the heroes of the reactionary revolution.

Hopefully: hating on women and reproductive freedom in general. Should patriarchal right-wing attempts to ban abortion, contraception, and otherwise attempt to keep women barefoot and pregnant in perpetuity fail (by which I mean fail in the same way that overt racism has currently failed, dog whistles notwithstanding), I suspect that in retrospect all such right-wing attempts to keep women subjugated and controlled will be seen as they really are, and any fig leaves about sanctity of life (except when it comes to, er, actually judicially killing people) will be seen as the piss-poor excuses they are.

In the same way that pretty much everyone these days acknowledges that yelling "States' Rights!" was a way of saying "OK, but can we at least carry on lynching coloured people down South?"

Gonna give a strictly American answer: death penalty. I sure hope it's a thing of the past 100 years from now.

Taking a crap in fresh potable water, then sending it and about four gallons of other fresh, potable water down some pipes to go sit with a bunch of other crap and pollutants, and then dumping it all out into the water supply.

A hundred years from now, I expect that people will, indeed, still live in the greatest country on the planet, even if it's not still the greatest country on the planet at that point.

And sometimes it gets REALLY FUCKING COLD here.
