This is, at its core, the message of the Prosperity Gospel: The priest is fat and rich, and he got there by worshipping God. If you give him all your money and food, you too will be worshipping God, and thus become fat and rich.
Very, very few things on the internet make me cry anymore. This was one of them. Also, very very difficult to resist stabbing the image of that guy on my screen, but I can't really afford to replace my netbook right now :P
