Holy shit!

This should be an open and shut case if there's any justice in the world. The fact that the security footage reveals that the murderer stayed silent through all of this (unlike his partner, who at least betrayed some semblance of humanity) should be enough to convict for whatever the US legal equivalent of "yes, I meant to kill the guy, and I'm not sorry" is.

That's my neck of the woods.

I bet the cop was Mormon. Take your basic Old Boy Network and ramp it up to eleven, that's Mormons in Utah.

Oh, GOD. So to speak.

I hate Salt Lake City. It looks all shiny but when we were passing through, we just could not get out of there fast enough. It just felt poisonous.

*headdesk* What's that saying about hammer and nails? Can we adapt it?

"When all you have is a gun, every problem starts to look like a target"

It's as if the actions of public officials have no consequences whatsoever. I'm sure there's a name for that sort of state.

Wait, did they try to pull him over first? Or did they just automatically go into a pit maneuver? Because that makes no sense.

Maybe it's because the whole thing is totally senseless, but I feel like I need more info. The article only restated the family's complaint, so it's completely one-sided, and it was incomplete.

I'm not sticking up for the officer, because he's clearly a trigger-happy lunatic, but I feel like the article was leaving things out.

It's not like he was happily driving along in a lawful manner and was shot without warning, it appears.
