That kitty, that there redefines "frustration."

I am amazed at the laughing parents. Are they that unaware?

I would be laughing as well!

Did you notice that the mother takes the baby away from the lion right at the start, and the baby cries and the camera guy is all "no, no, put him back"?

The toddler is all "kitty! Want to touch!" and the lioness is all "I keep trying to fit it's head in my mouth and the forcefield prevents me!" and this is CUTE.

I'll be honest, if I were those parents? I'd take that child and ruuuuun. I don't care if there's a sheet of glass between me and the nice lioness, when a big cat starts actively hunting you I'm outta there

*is a coward and quite happy with it*

That is really funny...mostly because my own cats do the same thing behind the window.

OTOH, this is a lioness and a baby...so my laughter is conflicted. It's _there_, but with a "only funny until the plexiglass breaks" twist.

The title on the video is "Lioness tries to eat baby[...]" so, no. They're not that unaware. They just took full advantages of the safety measures in place. And the baby had a good time. I'm kind of sorry for the lioness - she wanted nibbles!

Seriously, my boyfriend would have totally done that with his kids when he had toddlers. What good are they, if you can't film large predators salivating over them?

...When I first started reading that sentence, I was like, "Your boyfriend totally would've tried to eat his babies?" D:

It would TOTALLY kill the baby first. It's not a monster.

My brain may, in fact, actually have melted from the cute. (It is possible there was a tiny assist from the weather, but most of it is *definitely* the desperate attempts to nom through glass.)

Good thing...

I've seen my cat make similar gestures, which I sometimes suspect means, "Were I not so small, I'd eat you."

My cat, who may have been dropped on her head as a kitten, does this to the tub.
