Rather pandering though, and as a freak who lives in LA you'd be surprised at how well we cope with sun and heat. Kilts, short skirts, sleeveless tops, and skip the coats/stockings/gloves. Add an umbrella or a big hat to minimize sun exposure if you want to stay pasty white, and always carry a fan.
