A full keyboard built into an orthogonal grid. Aside from the obvious applications for disabled people, this would be a decent way for the benighted right-handed world to escape the ergonomic slum that is WASD/ASDF and enjoy some semblance of the numpad as gaming buttons.

Now if only they'd say what kinda keyswitches they're using. For $300, it better not be some crappy bubble domes.

ALSO: Maltron should be the name of some sci-fi killer AI, not a keyboard company.

As a right-handed person who plays many games, I love WASD and would not prefer the numpad. I want my dominant hand on my mouse, thanks, that's where I need the precision.

I always used to just shove my keyboard over and play left-hand numpad, right-hand mouse. I liked the numpad layout.

Then all the games started DEFAULTING to wasd instead of to arrows, and some of them weren't possible to rebind, so I started getting used to that. And now I don't have to move my keyboard any more.

I have my dominant hand on my mouse. My inferior, non-sinister hand is jump-crouching while circle-strafing and never worrying about key ghosting, or my fingers getting lost in a sea of isomorphic keys.

For Skyrim and other asinine games that don't allow remapping, there is Autohotkey. (http://www.autohotkey.com/)

Current version seems to have scared all the remapping problems out of Skyrim.

Semi-related, there's a left-handed version of that keyboard for Our Sinister Overlords, or for righties who want to keep one hand on the mouse at ALL TIMES and they mean ALL TIMES.

QWES is far superior to WASD.

Is your middle finger the same length as your index and ring fingers due to some mutation?

That's the only explanation that makes any sense.

I was also able to use the old iMac puck mice just fine.

I'm left-handed.

In everything except the computer, where I use the mouse with my right hand like most sane normal people.

I would have guessed "Unfortunate shop-class accident", but I've seen one of those IRL

I need to see this in action, because I don't understand the need for that curve. Unless it's to cradle my forehead when I mash it into the keyboard, in which case, AWESOME!
