Saint's Row 3 plays like, well, a GTA game, except one where the developers decided to sit down and take out all the parts of the game that weren't any fun. So it's a GTA game with no grinding, no stupid minigames, no Cousin Roman. And you can customise your character, all the way to playing as "naked zombie clown" if you want to. Oh, and they consciously decided to make the most absurd plot decisions available, at every point.
It's great fun. And optionally multiplayer! And cheap.
