Remember the Spicy Sausage Rice? It turns out the correct proportions for "white rice, as found in my kitchen" to turn out correctly without adding liquids later is 1 cup rice, 700ml chicken stock, and a "generous half-glass that is closer to 3/4 of a glass" of white wine.
