Usually when there are accusations of police brutality or excessive use of force, the cop is the one who is stuck with the burden of proof. Even if he is cleared of all charges, his career is still in trouble, if not over. The cops who shot Sean Bill were forcibly retired and Bell's family was paid a huge settlement because of the attention given to it. No police department wants to be the LAPD from the 1990s.

The cameras work to actually exonerate the police officers.

It should be easy to automatically spot recordings with brokenness / mrrfle & punt to a "Project Coppenburg" of humans to analyse further.
