It's nice to see a story that belies the usual stereotypes about pit bulls. Also, this reminded me of the cat a while back who went after and chased off a dog that was attacking her boy.
Also also, I perfectly understand the owner getting in between them. Yes, it's stupid and everybody says not to do it, but if my pet -- maybe even somebody else's -- was in danger, I'd probably do the same.
