Ugandan Muslims protest a proposed law that gives rights to women - namely, the right to be asked before their husband takes another wife, and the right to inherit some of their husband's possessions if he dies.

Others claim the bill does not do enough, since it's still not a criminal offense to rape your wife in Uganda.

Although this demonstration was peaceful, some Muslims say they are prepared to use violent means to resist the proposed law.

Muslim leaders have called for the law to exempt Muslims as they say Islamic law cannot be compromised.
