Jeff Habay called the police about a letter he received from a constituent in May that contained a white powdery substance, causing an Anthrax scare. Of course.
A) The substance was Arm&Hammer Baking Soda
B) The substance wasn't in the letter when it went through the postal system
C) The rest of the box was in Habay's kitchen
D) The constituent who sent the letter was one of five who'd asked a court to audit Habay's fraudulent use of his office and campaign staff for personal goals.
In an unrelated case, Habay is awaiting trial on charges of using his staff to campaign on state time, theft of service and conflict of interest.
