dude.. for years i've been saying we should all ban together to help stop the spread of country music...

The causal link is not implied by the correlation, though. Since I can see a mechanism for a causal link the other way round (more or less -- plenty of suicides implies depressed population for whatever reason, and requests lots of country), but not this way round, I don't buy it.
