When I was rooming with a friend who also had a cat, both hers and mine were immensely entertained by the hamster she had inherited from a previous roommate.
They would take turns perching on top of the hamster's cage, staring through the mesh with hopeful anticipation.
My cat also got all excited yesterday by a television commercial featuring hummingbirds. That was funny.
