MPK is basically monster/mob player killing. In other words, there's no way (in normal gameplay) to directly fight and kill another character in FFXI. So sometimes people will use "MPK" methods to gather a lot of tough monsters and somehow get them all attacking someone at once, to get them killed. Gives you nothing but satisfaction. It's also against the user agreement, but hey, SquarEnix is notoriously slow about caring about anything. -_-
