I'm more worried about how thoroughly it would completely screw the current ecology in the given areas. Not that we should worry, because SO many of the man-introduced non-native species in various areas have fit in SO well. (Why yes, that was sarcasm.)
I could see it in one or two *well* fenced-in, *well* maintaned preserves that are like parks or something unto themselves (sorta like some of the attractions in Florida, like Lion Country Safari), but not actually putting them into the ecosystem all around.
