I thought about getting one until I found out that they are prone to incontinence. Although I thought the idea of the way they show that they want more attention is by gliding over and landing on your face was hilarious. :)
It's a dormouse. Someone on a board I visit lost him to old age. Apparently they got him from Africa. I didn't expect his picture to get around this much. XD
